That is not good. Think about how many electronics doctors use these days.
For example, if I was doing a laparoscopic surgery, and the power went out and I was in the middle of internally stitching something. What would I do? Not to mention the anesthesiologist's problems.
Not good. Not good at all. I would hate to be doing an operation then. I don't really know the power features of our hospital. I know that it has multiple back-up generators.
Fun Fact: I do that the ESPN Aux. Data Center in Bloomfield (think), CT has two jet engine powered generators.

Adobe scatters files like hell throughout your computer. Unfortunately copying just the app from the Applications folder won't be enough for it.

Well, I can't see anything wrong with the code you've supplied.

This sucks I work at Costco and I know for a fact that because Apple gave a exclusive deal to SAMs Costco got mad and when supplies of ALL Apple products run out at Costco there will be NO more! No iPods or iTunes gift cards of any kind. This is Costco's way of playing hard ball with Apple. Each Costco building sold about $200k of Apple products per month!!! That WILL affect Apple! After all Apple should know that Costco will offer FAR better service for iPad sales than Sams! Eventually Apple WILL come around and Costco will begin to sell Apple products again
Guys....this is like his first post and he knows for "fact". Come on partner show us some facts or move along.

I meant to ask what the thickness of the case was, if I could dock it with a Bose SoundDock, what kind of maintenance it might have, etc.
You might want to go for the torrent because its supposed to be able to dock.

It's probably a good idea to log in as root prior to moving the Users directory.
Moving a directory that is in use might cause problems.
The process for moving Users to another partition is the same as moving it to a second drive. (you will probably not experience any improvement in disk performance though)
Jazzbo's detailed explanation for using Terminal to relocate Users directory. (http://www.macgurus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18789)

I often find myself increasing the font in firefox, is there a way I can increase the font size throughout the whole of snow leopard? or is there a way I can increase the font on all websites rather than doing it individually for each website?
Thanks

agree on istat menus, just monitor what you need though...it can be taxing if you have every monitor running all the time in short increments

NO Apple Care.
Just get the base model.
The nearly $500 you save is half the cost of the base model. Use it to upgrade on a rainy day whether that be a new iMac or external hard drive. (Also, speaking from experience, replacing your internal iMac hard drive is easy enough.)
Wouldn't worry about whether programs will be good when your grade school kids are in high school.
No need for one-to-one unless you're computer phobic. I think if you buy your iMac in the store they will transfer data for free. Very easy to transfer music from iTunes on windows to iTunes on Mac over your home network. It's a hands-off overnight project.
For help on using a Mac just watch the ton of nice video tutorials they have online at apple.com.

No. The vast majority of 2011 MBP users are having no issues. People come to a forum because they have an issue. It happens every time there is an update. For every one that has a problem there are hundreds others who have no problems.
Go for it and enjoy your new MBP.

Do you have the basics setup? By that I mean, does your app currently show a specified location? There's a bunch of tutorials on using the MapKit.
You need to setup a CLLocationCoordinate2D property and set it to the specific location for each button. Then you can create a region that contains this location and pass that to your mapView.
