Think back to Katrina.
I had finally purged the image from my memory, but now you had to reawaken the memories...

I like the idea about changing the layout of the bottom of the laptops. However, interchangable plates!I would never buy mac if it was like that.
The multi touch poatent ages ago could be used in conjunction to make the touch pad and surrounding area into an interface, you coukld then design or make any interface you want and export them to apple online like widgets!

Since the artwork is copied directly over from the current iLife '09, there's no reason to think they have any more insight about the iLife suite than, at best, guesswork, and quite possibly nothing more than just random stabbing in the dark. Apple has not previously reused artwork from one iLife edition to the next, and it makes little sense to retain the '09 artwork given the supposed changes.

Limited only to Apple devices would mean it would be DOA. Sorry but being limited to costly Apple devices is a huge issue over all on why I do not buy movies from Apple Store and sure as hell would not stream this.
Netflix to my 360 I like because that reduces me having to buy some other device. Netflix works with other things I want/need and does not require me buying some special box to watch it on my TV.

Wrong.
Expiry has nothing to do with it. As an account holder with four iPhones, my line is elligible for upgrade every year.
I have an iPhone 4, I'm upgrade eligible on June 11th.
Where's my iPhone 5, Apple?
Your plan for upgrading is with your cell phone provider, right? Most likely the answer is yes - but Apple is not responsible for fulfilling your cell phone promise of upgrades every year. Thats between you and your cell phone provider... Harsh as it may sound..
Since Apple are releasing the white iPhone 4 soon, I doubt Apple will be pushing out an iPhone 5 between now and end of summer..

competition, as many pointed out, is always a good thing! it leeds to better products and lower prices, which benefits us users.
i have to agree with those who think that iOS needs an overhaul. as far as i can remember, it hasn't changed much since its initial release.
i think apple has to add an app drawer just like android has and let you put only those apps you choose on your homescreens. i know, they added folders to iOS, so that you can organize your apps, but this isn't the same.
further, i hear many complains about the notification system of iOS.
these are 2 points apple need to address, if you ask me. snappiness is good, but it's not the only thing that counts.

I HATE the whole idea!
I used to walk to a shop buy a CD with a HARD copy it was MINE I paid for it! a physical copy I had controll over.
Then we had MP3's with that lovely DRM removed to let us do WHAT WE WANT and had a PHYSICAL file on my laptop or pc it was MY FILE.
So what we saying now?
Upload all YOUR music your PAID for back to Apple or whatever company running it so they have the whole controll to pull it all when they want!
No copys, no files, all on the server and it dont stop there it will be personal stuff soon eventualy everything cloud based and your trust in the company to keep this all safe!
NO WAY I'll stick to my few terabyte hard disk and stream it from MY PC not THERE servers!

Yet another discussion where the iPhone as a device by itself is being lumped into an OS discussion with Android, that is found on countless different devices. I'd love to see a comparison of PHONE sales.... iPhone sales versus HTC Evo, HTC Thunderbolt, Motorolla Droid X, etc.
As a separate note, where are all of the Verizon iPhone doomsdayers that proclaimed the network would go down and the device would fail on Verizon? They sure disappeared like a fart in the wind. Let me guess, when the 5 comes out, the network will then be bogged down? I can't express how happy I've been with the Verizon iPhone thus far.

The comments here are so hilarious. There is a rumor about a product that has never been announced. People start imagining all sorts of restrictions on this unannounced rumored product. They then complain about hoe apple is so evil to be imposing these restrictions, which they imagined, on an unannounced, unreleased rumored product.

Good call... it is really humorous to read a lot of the comments, and the best part is the speculation gets more intense with every page. Haha... just funny.
I am really curious to see what Apple has up its sleeves though, (some of their ideas have tanked), but they don't have a huge reputation for disappointment...

I need to get myself one of those blenders. Especially the 2350 Watt, 20 Amp model. :p
you might get mad or even pissed just by watching that, you might also think what a waste, but look it this way.. an ipad 500 bucks+ the guys salary.. i dunno? 300 maximum for doing this?, then the cameras man and editing, another 300 for each guy, so thats about 1500.. youtube is free and a lot of people have watched the publicity, i think that its actually working for them this way lol
The guy in the video is the founder of Blendtec (the company that makes the blender) ;)

Before my iPod, I had an old iRiver CD Walkman made of Magnesium Alloy. The interface was horrible, but the main unit's design was SEXYYYY.
However, the magnesium definitely did tarnish (it was finished in silver). I'm not sure if it was poor quality, was actually the paint on top of the magnesium that was wearing off, or something else.
Somehow the magnesium rumor sounds off. Unless Apple intends to start sheathing all of their metal products with magnesium, which would be prohibitively expensive, the colors would no longer match.

I'm looking forward to this.. I love my Apple TV, but the $4.99+ 24 Hour rentals are a little absurd. I hope a 1080p refresh is released this year, possibly.

AppleTV has a great user interface. It is simple and easy to navigate.
Some of these software designers need the equivalent of an editor to reign them in. There are some really bad user interfaces on some of these devices. I think the bad designers need a perspective of someone not as familiar with the system as they are.

What they're saving from not printing is being largely consumed by Apple's 30%.
-1 Wrong. They still have distribution costs of the printed version and printing alone accounts for about 25% of their costs.
They just don't have the model down right for one. I agree with others, it should be cheaper than the print version and/or be free when you subscribe to the print version.
The other issue they have is the value of printed magazines is quickly dying. So much information is available for free, it's hard to justify investment in general magazines unless there are specific articles you like to read or it's specialized, like Playboy for example! :D
Oh... wait... that's only going to be available for the future iPad Touch! :p

EyeTV has a free service called My EyeTV which resolves the IP. You just need to register with your email address and a password, then within the EyeTV app on the iPhone you enter same and you can connect from anywhere. However, for all this to work you need the EyeTV application running on your Mac.
Similarly, there was a question about accessing your video from a network outside of your home (or whatever), yes, that works as long as you have registered via the My EyeTV service.
Very nice. It looks like anyone on a dynamic IP can use the EyeTV app if they have a compatible router.
