All that will do is make me have to do an extra step and now the picture is located in two places. Both the original folder and the alias. I don't want to go to the current photo booth folder and drag and drop the image to the desktop or where I need it to be. I simply wanted the save directory to default to desktop. Based on your answers and suggestions I'm assuming it's not possible to change the default save directory? That makes zero sense.

I like the idea behind it, with the spinning beach ball. The Flash logo is too obscured, though.

Yeah, Pixar pretty much wins every year except for Cars and Monsters Inc. There was not a category for animated film when Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were released.
This year Toy Story 3 was nominated for Best Picture also, which is a big deal since that's only happened three times for an animated film (Beauty and the Beast, UP and Toy Story 3).
Jobs actually went to the Oscars last year for UP.

Okay this is the one I got. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5839638126&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1)I know its not the greatest, but I figured it was the best for playing around with.
Question #1. Can this Mac take PC133 ram. I'm pretty sure I can round up at least 512mb of ram for it if it does.
Question #2. I want to upgrade the hard drive right away. Is there any way that I can copy the OS over to the new hard drive since I don't have any instalation CDs?
Question #3. Will all my PC pci accesiories work in this Mac?(other then the video card already found out those don't work)
Question #4.I have a wireless network and use USB adapters to link my computers to it. Will any of these work with Mac or only special ones?
Oh yah and last, but not least. Woo hoo! I got a Mac finally:p

I really hope this is not approved. We need more cell carriers not fewer. Personally I almost feel that they need to be broken up some more. US is already lagging way behind in terms of price vs services. About the only country worse than us is Canada.
Sadly I see AT&T killing off T-Mobiles UMA offerings instead of expanding it. UMA is much MUCH better than the microcell crap.
On top of that it is bad things for Android because AT&T will just lock it down even more and T-Mobile has been fairly open to it. Plus increase cost all around.
This is bad and I really do not want it approved.

Yeah right like the average non-dork actually read post #6 on their iPad. LOL
Gimme a break... FAIL!
Geeks always live in a whole other world than the average person.
I know because I'm a geek, but mostly don't have geek friends! :)
Nobody on this site ever gets that! LOL
By the way, Steve Jobs himself admitted that 75% of websites use Flash and that he was hoping it would get to 50% soon. Soon? What date on the calender is "soon?"
Now on my iPhone, that's not a really big deal. But I'd used a tablet for more and different things than an iPhone.
If you spend over $500 for a computer/tablet device that doesn't show 75% of the web content, I would think you'd be disappointed.
1. If you go to their site on iPad, the video works. So obviously you don't own one.
2. Ever heard of Flash blockers? Many people use it.
3. Please, stick with your floppy drives while the world moves ahead. I am you are picking up the internet taps with your Flash-ad enabled device.

Hello,
I created a file in quartz composer and I put it in a standalone application. I need the user to be able to see the desktop behind it. I tried setting the clear color opacity in IB to 0% however you just see the window behind it. I need the application window to be clear as well as the Quartz Composer so the things happing in the Quartz file appear to be happening over whatever is under the window.
Thanks

I agree with Hellhammer. I think they should have 2 iPod Nanos. One with the small screen, a touch screen. And then the one with the larger screen with a scroll wheel. Why doesn't Apple ever sell the last generation iPod along with the new one? They do it with the iPhone. The 3Gs is still being sold, and it's pretty dated. The old Nano actually had MORE features than the new one.

Well the official videos come from the studios themselves so why are they complaining?
I guess they don't anticipate most people converting from youtube to mp3. But as far as im concerned it's the same as recording off the radio.

I propose a new category called Digital Lifestyle or similar. In such a category would be Apple's iLife applications, any articles relating to eyeTV, and iPod stuff. This category could also be used for articles on hardware or software that helps integrate your digital lifestyle (for instance, Apple DVI to Video Adapter would fit because it connects a Mac Mini or PowerMac to a TV).

Why advertise what kind of electronics can be found in your residence?
Because there's no problem in doing so.

I've been using osx since panther and since buying a new imac last year i use osx almost exclusively.
I'm currently studying Computer science at university and for the most part have completed the majority of my work in osx.
databases, programming etc etc
I'm going to do a placement year in august/september but I'm a bit concerned about looking a bit silly.
It takes me ages to do things in windows these days and the ribbon in office just angers me.
I used to consider myself a bit of a "know it all" but recently I realised I don't know very much at all anymore lol.
Would it be worthwhile setting up bootcamp and only using that for a few months?
Has anyone else noticed there windows knowledge slip since moving over to osx?
