I checked with my attorney, they advised better not to change address until EAD is received.
If it is emergency then address can be changed but with this confusion and emergency filing it adds to some more confusion :confused:

Friends - Thanks for your help on this one. After getting suggestions from you guys, I did call my lawyer too. He asked me to go back to the airport and Submit my I-94 and related docs to the CBP department there.
After that I called the CBP Customer care for NJ at (703) 526-4200 and the rep asked me to go to CBP website and asked me to mail the I-94 to the address written there. Here is the link for your reference. Alo in this website, it says clearly, DO NOT submit to any other CBP office other than the address mentioned.

Eventually they will accept it if it was wrongly rejected so you do not have to worry that you won't be able to re-file it after 9/30.

I think I know which memo you are talking about but I can't access it when I click on it because it is password protected. Is there a way you could just post the content of the memo here for those of us who can't access? It would be helpful.

One question on the bullet below: Does the calculation assume that all 140K visa numbers can be used towards all pending applications, irrespective of country limits. I thought the country limit is going to make the situation much worse.

I did some mistakes when I went for Visa intervew in March 2007, I have done a new form on line and printed again.If they have not changed the usage of online DS-156 you could do the same thing.
Some fields cannot be edited after you save for the first time like Passport Details (Number, Place of issuance etc).
